Loktin / Editorial standards

Editorial standards and corrections

Loktin aims to publish useful, factual local discovery pages. This page explains the standards behind listings, guides, corrections, and advertising.

Official sources first

Where possible, Loktin links to an organization’s official website for information that changes frequently: menus, hours, event schedules, booking, availability, pricing, services, and registration.

No paid ranking

Loktin does not present directory listings as ratings or endorsements. Inclusion is not a guarantee of quality, availability, or suitability. Sponsored placements, if offered, will be clearly labeled.

Corrections

To report a factual error or request a change, email support@loktin.co with the page URL, requested correction, and an official source.

Guide standards

Guides are written to help visitors compare options or locate official resources. They do not replace professional, medical, legal, financial, emergency, or care advice.

Advertising disclosure

Advertising, sponsored content, or paid placements will be clearly identified. Editorial content and directory inclusion are not sold as a ranking or endorsement. Advertisers do not control factual correction decisions.

When a page is updated, the purpose is to improve accuracy, usefulness, navigation, or clarity for visitors. The site does not promise that every business, event, or resource will be covered, and it asks visitors to use linked official sources for time-sensitive decisions.
